The bond

A horse will tell you and let you know if they want to bond  the strongest bonds usually come from scared horses or untrusting horses cause they bond so closley to the person they can trust

Buttt join ups almost always work!!!

A bond could take 10 years or 10 seconds!!! Its about work trust a patience

Never do a rush bond they never work in the end!!!

Western tips

Western riders don't use steady leg pressure like english riders do. Tapping your legs against their sides asks for speed, not a squeeze. So basically you just give tiny little light kicks in rhythm to ask for a jog (which very well may need to be collected back into, they don't just start out jogging, they could start out in a forward trot the same way any horse can.) And for lope, outside leg back the same way as english, and the same idea. Little tiny taps. 2. Rein movement is key. Push your hands forward for faster, back towards you for slower. Not with contact, they will feel it if they are in a western bit. And I'm sure you get the basic idea of neck reining. If you really can't steer them, and you're not comfortable and don't have a western trainer, then pop a snaffle in their mouth. It might be awkward, but ride the way you do in english and you won't have to worry about seriously hurting them if you know how to steer with a snaffle (which you should if you're hacking on your own, just qualifying.) 3. Post if you want to. Bouncy trot/jog? If you cant balance well sitting, post. Doesn't hurt anything. 4. Don't lean back the whole time, even though it feels like you want to. Keep an upright and supple seat, regardless of the saddle. It will unbalance you AND your horse if you push your leg forward and your upper body back constantly for a more "cowboy" position. XD Trust me, I learned the hard way.

Does your horse throw his or her head

Does your horse throw its head when cantering or galloping or going into a jump or just all the time.

What you can do to stop that.
. buy a runing  martingale
.make him spin in 2 small circles every time
.if its on ground every time he throws his head lunge him and when he stops throwing his or her head stop. Do over and over
.kick him into a trot canter or gallop when he throws his or her head

Your horse is the way he is

Your horse is the way he or she is because if you that can be a good or bad thing. Maybe your horse is crazy can't be trusted is scary. Its not the fault its yours for not trying hard enough to fix that you could if you really wanted to you just think it would be to hard. Your horse can be an amazing jumper and perfect  that's cause of you you don't let him get away with bad stuff. Don't be scared to be strict with your horse your the boss remember that. YOUR THE BOSS YOU CONTROL THE HORSE THE HORSE FOLLOWS. If your horse throw his head put a martingale on still doesn't work kick him into a fast canter every time he throws his head circle him do something don't just let the horse do that it may not seem like much but trust me it will go on.  Please stop that now if you need help on how to gmail me at. Kenziedorland@gmail.com. I will reply very very soon
Or ask on my instagram. Love_the_saddle
Please please fix it now and take those words to heart think about it

Bits do not control horses

You may think so but really if they did there wouldn't be horses running through the bit. Bits can help but  you would be closer to your horse if you rode in a halter bosal or bit less bridle. And you would be closer to the horse and he would love you more. People think my horse isnt listening to this bit let's go with a harsher bit but really you should be going DOWN IN BUTS WHEN. YOUR HORSE REACTS AND DOESN'T LISTEN.
